Chicken on the Way started in Edmonton, Alberta and was brought to Calgary in 1958 by Bob Dunn, grandfather of the current owner. For over 50 years the restaurant has relied on the basics: provide great tasting food at a reasonable price. The menu has never been fancy and it hasn’t changed much through the years: our customers have told us what they want, and we’ve listened.
Today our values remain the same as when we first started: prepare and serve homemade food, keeping a smaller menu so that quality can be assured. Chicken on the Way provides complete operations training and on-going support.
